Alḥamdulillah, we are pleased to share our third water hand pump has been successfully installed by Al-Ansar in Nambulu, Mbale, Uganda. We have repaired an old hand pump which needed an new pump head & new piping system. This vital project is now providing clean, safe water to over 1000+ people, serving Masjid Syed Hamid Al Idrus and the wider community. Access to clean water transforms daily life supporting worshippers with wudhu facilities without the burden of walking long distances to fetch water, and improving overall health and hygiene for families.

Previously, many families relied on unsafe or distant water sources, putting them at risk of waterborne illnesses and hardship. Today, this hand pump stands as a sustainable solution, reducing disease, saving valuable time, and allowing children to focus on their education. It strengthens the mosque, supports the daily needs, and benefits the entire community for years to come.
