The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have his sins forgiven, will be saved from hell fire, and will have the same reward as the fasting person without diminishing the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
During the blessed 27th night of Ramadan, Al-Ansar organised a large community iftar for approximately 350 people at Shamsiyya School and Masjid Yasar in Namanonyi, Mbale, Uganda. This special gathering brought together students, teachers, and members of the local community to break their fast together in a spirit of unity, gratitude, and compassion.
This iftar was donated on behalf of Late Haji Raja Liaqat, whose kind donation made it possible to provide a nourishing meal for everyone attending. The iftar meal included freshly prepared rice and meat, along with watermelons and refreshing drinks, ensuring that all those fasting could break their fast comfortably after a long day.
The event was a beautiful reminder of the importance of generosity and community during Ramadan. Seeing hundreds of people come together to share a meal highlighted the impact that thoughtful donations can have on those in need. May Allah accept this Saddqah and grant Late Haji Raja Liaqat Jannah.
