This Ramadan, while many of us break our fasts in safety and comfort, our brothers and sisters from Palestine are living in hardship, displacement, and pain. Forced to flee their homes, many families are now struggling to survive in Cairo with little food, little shelter, and heavy hearts.

The Al Ansar team will be travelling to Egypt from United Kingdom during this blessed month to reach those in need and deliver urgent aid. Our aim is to be a means of relief through Allah’s permission providing large food packs which include food and daily essential supplies, to support and restore dignity to those who have lost so much. Each food pack cost around £30.00.

Ramadan is the month of mercy, sacrifice, and sincere giving. The Prophet ﷺ taught us that the best charity is that given in Ramadan. Your zakat and sadaqah can feed the hungry, comfort the oppressed, and become a source of ongoing reward for you.
