Shamsiyya Islamic School

 Whilst in Uganda an appeal for support came from the Shamsiyya Junior School in the district of Mbale. Al-Ansar team set off on the 4-hour drive to Mbale to find out more about the school which is managed by the Mpogo Welfare Trust.  

Many of the children were struggling without even the most basic classroom materials. Al-Ansar responded immediately supplying essential school items including books and stationery to help create a better learning environment. These simple yet vital resources will enable the students to participate fully in their lessons, improve their confidence, and continue their education with dignity. Supporting education is an investment in the future, and we pray this assistance brings long-term benefit to the children and their community.
